The Crocodile Prize, a literary competition promoting Papua New Guinean authors drew a lot of interest and is probably the largest competition of such to have taken place in the country.
Initiated by PNG Attitude and the Post Courier, the competition attracted a large number of contributors and now an anthology is being published in print and electronic format. It boasts a collection of the best entries for 2011 and has 170 pages including 76 original stories and 50 poems. Phil Fitzpatrick did the editing and also the foreword.
PS: A couple of my works are featured in this book.
