NASFUND has hit back at the blog site PNG BLOGS regarding recent articles regarding the superfund and the bond issue. The articles, written using aliases claims high level corruption within the organization. It also alleges a cover up.

In a press released today, Ernie Gangloff, Independent ex Officio NASFUND Board, says the organization has started an investigation to establish the identities of the people involved and are putting up a K50,000.00 reward for any information leading to the successful arrest and prosecution of the responsible persons for the articles.

Join CEO, Rod Mitchell, who has been the subject of most of these articles, has also released a statement refuting the claims made. He goes on to say that

“…has been a concerted attempt to destabilize NASFUND, the Board and its Management by malicious rubbish. The most successful financial organization in Papua New Guinea will not stand by idly and allow faceless people to dictate or set their hidden agenda against the organization…”

Mr Mitchell also called for NASFUND members and the general public to hold firm and help expose the faceless authors of the articles.
